Safeguarding

The parishes of Wick, Doynton and Dyrham are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people, and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officers, PSOs. The Diocese of Bristol’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm, please contact Adam Bond, Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor on 07543 504977 (Monday to Friday 9am-5pm).

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police on 101 and your local authority Children or Adults Services. For concerns about a child contact South Gloucestershire Child Care on 01454 866000; for concerns about an adult contact Adult Care on 01454 868007.
